Brake Question

A few months ago i went on a Baja Trip, the last part of the trip was a very steep descent from Tecate to Mexicali, i remember i had to be constantly breaking because it was a very steep incline with so many turns.

After that trip i notice an intense vibration every time i step on the breaks to make a full stop, I am pretty sure my disk brakes got warped since they were getting hot and cooling very rapidly during that trip.

I just wanted to get your opinion before i start buying new disc.

Also i think it is unrelated but the other day when i was driving my runner i had to step on the breakes because an idiot stopped right in front of me, the breaking was horrible it seemed like i had no breaking power at all, i pressed the breakes as hard as i could with almost no reaction, luckily i was able to stop before hitting the car in front of me.

I used to have a 67 mustang with all 4 drum breakes, this think felt worst than that car, i was wondering if i have some air in my system and i need to bleed it or maybe something else could be wrong, like the ABS system (i've seen the light come on from time to time)

I had the same issue with my newly aquired runner, weak and pulsating brakes. After reading here i did the front brake tundra swap and cleaned/adjusted my rear brakes. This mod made a HUGE difference. i'm going atv'ing in the mountains this weekend so with a trailer full of atvs and the mountain roads i'm really gonna put them to the test.
