Brake Squeal In Reverse

Anyone know why or does anyone elses squeal or squeak when in reverse after a cool down? Its obnoxious and somewhat embarrassing when i back up at night or first thing in the morning and a loud squeal shoots off and everyone looks.

I have had my brakes checked, inspected and everything is fine and normal. Am i to now chalk this up as a normal thing and be embarrassed whenever i back up out of my parking spot in the mornings?

Its something so simple but so aggravating.

Have you checked if u needed brakes? Some times the sensors will make that noise when they get low on the inside pad.

yeah, I've had that happen on my 4runner when I'm backing out my driveway in the morning.... Figured it was just my dead rotors and brakes.

Mine does it too, and it comes from the front. Im sure its the front drivers side, and it usually does it when it's cold, never had it happen on a warm day. I just replaced my pad and resurfaced my rotors, so I doubt it's those. I'm going to lube the slide pins and pad tomorrow. (There are parts of the pads that need small amounts of lube.

Mine does it after driving in the rain then the next day backing up out of the garage they squeal but then after I go down my driveway (its a hill) so I ride the bakes and no more noise.
I think they just need lubed and anti squeal grease on the back of the pads but it sure is annoying and loud.

I only get this when I have just washed the car. Seems peculiar to Japanese vehicles. My wife's Nissan 300 Z used to do the same thing.

Mine does this when I go to back out of the garage if the ABS kicked it at all the day before. Goes away after a just a bit of regular driving.

maybe it just brake dust build up on the rotors and pads. i get the same noise on my slot and drilled rotors with ebc yellow pads when i reverse, its not loud but i know its there. my ebc yellow pads are heavy duty pads.
