2000 SR5-Sport I wanted to use the 231 mm tundra rotors and calipers. Ok here is the question . what year tundra 2001 or do i need a 2002.??Next question will I need to remove material from the back of a 16 inch 5 spoke OE wheel ?? I will be installing Mastercraft Coursers AXT onto a new set of wheels these will be ATX series AX-201 black lip and bronze centers, these wheels have a zero center and a 4 1/2" back space

I did mine last summer on my 01 sr5, and have the 5 spoke wheels. The year tundra doesn't matter it's the same brakes, think I told them 02 at Napa , and I never had rubbing from my wheels, it's close , however , some wheels mite have a little more material back there then others that could require some grinding :/ You will need to cut some of the dust cover for the bigger caliber. (That was much easier with a cutting wheel ) You should replace the brakes lines too and there is a bunch of posts on this subject.
Good luck

199mm calipers were on the older tundras and 231mm calipers were on the newer first gen tundras. I think I used an 06 tundra for my 231mm calipers when I did the upgrade. Simply knowing the offset and back spacing of the wheel will not guarantee that it will clear the caliper. The only way to make sure is to test fit. That being said, if the wheel is said to fit an 06 Tundra, then it shouldn't have any problem clearing your tundra brake upgrade on your runner as the tundra and 4Runner share all the same suspension components and geometry.

This my first time at a project like this but to me the back of this wheel looks spacious enough,or maybe thats just a lot of hope it does talking.Any way I think i am all in on this project.
