Has anyone tried the TRD pads? Any noticeable improvement?

The TRD pads did seem to bite more aggressively than the stock Toyota compound. However, I burned through the TRD pads extremely quickly (rears went so fast that I got down to the back plate, and assumed the 'grinding' noise was a rear wheel bearing issue!). Additionally, they off-dusted all over the wheels like crazy (granted, it's not hard to wipe off)...
I went with PowerStop Rotor/Pad set for the last replacement. I'd gladly do it again.

Possibly a dumb/noob question, but any comments on putting a ceramic pad (such as Power Stop) on OEM rotors ?
Last weekend I went out and finally changed my front brake pads and lines at 116k miles, I was paitiently waiting and observing the front pads as the rears were changed about 15k prior. I went with trd pads plus stoptech lines and fluid, while the rear still need the lines swapped the improvement was noticeable, just get the use of your oem parts prior to upgrading!

I'm only at 39,000 on OEM. The dealer's been telling me that the rears need to be done for at least 18 months ("getting close") and they just told me that the fronts will need to be soon - rears will not likely make it to the next service... Been researching possible rotor upgrade. Just trying to think about a pad upgrade only now with allot of people saying OEM is the way to go.

I did...wait for it...Stoptech drilled and slotted rotors!!! Blasphemy! Believe it or not, they’re holding up well.
Coupled with the Stoptech carbon fiber pads designed for towing, they stop as good or, IMO, better than the stock rotors and pads.
I went this route because the stock rotors finally warped at 94,000 miles. The stock setup is super adequate and of extremely high quality. Swap in a quality pad (like the Stoptech I’m using) or stock OEM because Toyota tends to do things right. My deals was too good to pass.
