brakes to the floor!

Changed my brakes recently and now the pedal goes nearly to the floor. Only the driver side brake pads are sitting loose enough to jiggle by finger when sitting in park... if I hit the brake pedal hard, it pulls to the passenger side at first and levels out... if I hit the brake slowly it goes to the floor almost like there is air in the line... but if i push the brake down- let off and then immediately hit it again it feels like the brakes should/ used to... what is going on here?! I'm new to Toyota and never had experienced this in any other vehicle I've been in or owned!

Somewhat similar thing happened to me. Friend told me to pump the brake pedal until pressure returned to normal.
 
What ddi you replace and in what order (if you did) did you bleed the lines? SOunds like air trapped to me. IIRC the order is something wacky
 
The order was back driver, back passenger, passenger front, driver front... been driving it for a week now that way... gravity bled the driver front (caliper went in rather quickly and all at once, squeezed it by hand druing the brake change) no change after the bleeding
 
When you bled the brakes did you let the pedal bottom out? It could have damaged the seals in the master cylinder.

Also, did you have the ignition "ON" when bleeding the rears?
 
If you only changed the pad there shouldn't have been any air let into the system unless you undid one of the bleed screws or/and brake line. I've replaced the pads 3 times and never had to bleed the brakes yet..
 
I changed all the pads at one time... noticed the feel wasn't right, checked all of them for leakage after a day of driving it... then located the front driver pad set (last of the brakes I did), noticed the jiggling of the pads between the caliper and rotor and gravity bled them for an hour and a half and got no difference. It acts like it wants to pull to the passenger side in hard braking but after the initial "feeling like its going to brake" it goes back to nothing, till the brakes grab- right before they hit the floor. If I push em down, let off and immediately push them down again it feels about like they did before i changed them... my Haynes manual isn't helping and I am clearly out of my league on this one :majorly bummed:
 
When you bled the brakes did you let the fluid reservoir go empty at all? If that's the case the whole system would need to be bled with a certain tool I believe and usually you'd have to go to the dealer to have it done.
 
Techstream has a setting to bleed the brakes. I suspect a failed drivers side caliper. Since it pulls to the right.

Pictures of the rotors would help
 
I been a little busy to reply but i found the problem.... wheel bearing in the front hub went bad and the CV nut was prob the only reason the wheel didn't come plumb off... never could tell it driving anyhow x_x but that was my whole problem- had a play in the wheel about 1 inch total so it was pretty hardcore... anyways if it helps diagnose in the future--- brakes to the floor could very well mean catastrophic bearing failure... so everyone be aware!
