How long was it before you had to replace your original brakes. On my old Nissan Maxima I was able to get up to 77k miles before the brakes needed to be replaced. On my T4R I got about 55K miles and they are ready. Yes I do realize there is a big difference between two cars but I thought that almost 20K miles difference is bit much. I do not abuse my brakes, just a normal everyday driving.

Its gonna vary too much by how you drive, and where you drive...
what year T4R do you have? what model?

oh, ok... Ive heard that the 4banger 3rd gens have some pretty common braking issues. ie rotors constantly warping etc.
thought maybe that might be why yours needed replacing a bit sooner...
it could be a weight issue also... if you constantly have more weight in your T4R than others, they may need replacing sooner.

I Drive an 85 T4R. Was my grandfathers till he gave it to me about three years ago. I don't drive it too hard, but i do tend to down shift in order to slow down. That's probably not too good though if i want a lasting clutch and transmission.
