welcome! miles, price, anything else?
I ended up getting it for $16,500 and it has just over 100,000 on it for miles. A little bit more than I wanted to pay but its in great condition. 1 owner, no accidents etc.

Yeah overall it is in really good condition. Still needs a little bit of deep cleaning but the carpet inside looks great. Came with Weather Tech floor mats and the originals where sitting in the back of it still look new.
Thanks. Yeah my list of things I plan on doing are growing daily.

I second this. My mods are very minor compared to most but my other half once complained that I keep "getting ideas" from this forum and end up spending money.

I asked a guy at a dealership why I never saw any on dealer websites and he said, "Every time I get one in trade, somebody driving by stops and buys it before we can even get pics posted online." We got so frustrated that on the way home from our Outer Banks vacation a couple of years ago, we called the Toyota dealers in every town along the way. Paid off, too - we found our '07 in Greenville, SC. Fell in love with it on the test drive only to find out another couple was trying to buy it. Their deal fell through, we grabbed it, and we love it.

I think I lost a total of 3 T4R's by a matter of minutes. I realized that email is great but if you really want one you have to make the phone call because they go so fast. One dealer via email at the beginning told me that if I wanted the one I was inquiring about I should put down a $500 refundable deposit to hold it. I thought about it for about an hour. By the time I finally tried to call him about it, she was gone. I hoped to find a private party selling one to save some money but it just wasn't happening.
This one I had to drive up to DC and get.

I've had the same experience. It's a weird combination of patience in waiting or looking for the right one and then pouncing!

I lucked out, the first AutoTrader search I did turned this one up at a Toy dealer, 100k miles, one owner local, clean CarFax, timing belt/water pump replaced, new steering rack and CV boots. They hadn't even detailed it yet when we got to the lot on Monday morning. I paid full retail $19500, but they weren't letting it go for less that early into the advertising process, and there were only five other '05-'09 Limited V8's within 100 miles and none had a better history. You snooze, you lose. I would have liked an '08-'09 with the VSC Off button but buying used sometimes you can't get everything you want.
I've been checking AutoTrader since I bought it and there's just a small selection of V8's available at any one time.

I'm in Hawaii. Used 4Runners command a high price. Found mine on Craig's list on Maui, I'm on the Big Island. Turned out it was for sale on BI and didn't sell. Owner shipped it to Maui and lowered the price. I flew over and bought it on the spot. Pristine except for a few scratches. 2008 4X4 Sport with 86k for 17.5k. Worth every penny. New tires and brakes after purchase and it runs like new. Turned out he had actually sold it to someone in my town but bought it back cause it wouldn't fit in his garage. LOL!
