Brand new to me 4Runner

I just bought my first one too..a 06 sr5 v6 2wd. These are hard to find in my area. I almost bought an 08 v8 with only 58k but something didn't seem right about the way it drove. My 06 has 124k on it but drives better than the 08 imo. It has no bells and whistles except for sunroof but I don't need all that. Just love it so far and hoping to keep a long time.

Amen to that! I'm still waiting on the dealer to process the sale...I ended up pulling the trigger on an '08 Sport V8 4WD that looks exactly like the OP's! Congrats to you! I think this color and look is just gorgeous! I'm afraid to put it on the street outside my apartment in Queens, NY! LOL.

Hopefully I get the online sales documents via email soon; I'm getting antsy!!!

Re: the Virginia comment, I moved to NY a year ago but got my current Nissan Pathfinder in VA (lived in Old Town Alexandria before) just before the massive snow storm season in December 2010!!! WOW did I feel sorry for the more expensive SUVs (Porsche, etc.) stuck in the snow! I always wanted a 4Runner and now I (almost) finally do! :reddance:

I think you'll be as happy as I am with my 2007, it's really a great truck. Boy, I had no idea they're going that high.... wow!

All the tales I read on this forum about how quickly these things go motivated me to buy within 2 days of beginning my search. The specs were very rare and coincidentally 4 blocks from my office so I just signed for everything today! Stoked to pick it up this weekend!
