Haha! She was packing during my seat mount install and T4R update, but that one made me laugh out loud. I know my limits with her already, she would throw my phone! And thank you for the kind words Bandit!

Whoo hoo! Thank goodness for sisters. Mine has the same damage from my sister who drove mine for a few years. I'll be either be fixing it or getting a plate bumper. She also hit a non-movable object while she had a brush guard attached. The accident messed up both fenders and the hood. I'll probably just get a bug guard to cover up the hood dents and eventually replace the fenders.

So I had my daughter, Ava Marie, on January 29th 2014, weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces. She measured 20 inches in length. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Here are some photos getting ready to go home from the hospital and in the 4Runner. Had to break her into vehicles, figured the 4Runner was a good test. Not a peep from her the whole ride.

Thank you! Yeah, I know what you mean. My baby girl is flying through diapers. I can't begin to describe how happy she makes me though. It's certainly a life changer.
Haha! Daddy modding? I haven't thought about too much for her other than around a couple years, I plan on replacing the backseat map light with a fold down monitor that has the built in map lights. For the time being, she is still rear facing so it would be pointless, but I'm excited!
Haha, I got a real kick out of this comment. And by the way, thank you very much for the kind words. I couldn't imagine 3 car seats in the back of my truck, that's real compassion right there. Our next with be in 2-3 years, so I will give you a shout.
Thank you! I know, i know. I've been mentioning it, but never took photos of it. I actually took my subwoofers out, and then beat the jack location in a little to fit my 4-channel amp. So my amplifier is underneath my rear passenger seat, and the tweeters simply wire to that. I WILL take photos of all this soon. But I found a photo while at work of just a little of the tweeters.

I'm sure Ava Marie carries her Mothers resemblance, yet there is no mistaken who's the Daddy. LOL, she looks just like you too. As a new and first time grandparent ourselves, I'm certain Ava Maries grandparents are so proud and beaming from ear to ear with joy.

My parents love her. My fiancee's parents are infatuated with her as well. My mom told me, "It's great. Grandkids are sooo much better than having another kid. You get to enjoy their presence, and when they make a mess, I call my kid to do it." It's gotten to the point where if I show up to my parent's house empty handed, they go, "Ughh.. Where's Ava?!" And then say, "Ahh, its just Brian everyone!" And pretend to ignore me
My fiancee's dad told me, "Brian, I loved you then, but now, you gave me something so special that no one can give me. It's awesome." That meant a lot to me. So I can see where you're coming from.
On a side note, instead of re-gearing to 4.88 with a rear locker, I invested in a king bed set. We are currently on a full size bed and it's not cutting it. My girl and I went mattress shopping, and we nearly passed out in the store.

Alright, so I figured out my truck's dilemma. Come to find out that water got in with my spark plugs, which caused the rough idling and misfiring. The old plugs were dual electrode NGK Iridiums. Only had them in there for 2 years. Got a box of NGK wires and they turned out to be blue. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but they work so I guess it doesn't matter.
I also went out and purchased a ScanGauge II because of fuel economy (Getting to see my MPGs and GPH), trans temp, and fuel pressure. I had a hard time figuring out where I wanted to mount it, as I didn't want to block any of my gauge cluster. I decided that up by the flip-down was the best place. It was a good decision I feel. The actual back-light of the SGII is brighter, but my phone had trouble focusing with the daylight. The velcro needed some coaxing to adhere to my roof carpeting, so I added Gorilla super glue to the bottom of the velcro pad. It's not going anywhere.

Alright, so it's been awhile. I have had my brake light, VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF and ABS lights on for the past month, and May is my state inspection month, so I figured I would get to figuring out why my gauge cluster thinks it's Christmas.
Alright, so I discovered that I had a bad wheel sensor from an ABS code reader, and I got out my multimeter. Came to find out all sensors were reading around 1.62-1.68 ohms except for my front-left sensor; it read infinite. I looked up how much a wheel speed sensor is, and saw $200. I about died.
So I looked up the inventory of a local scrap yard and they had a 1997 4Runner. I went out there at 8:30 this morning and took the ohm reading of that donor truck. It read 1.64 ohms. I yanked it out, brought it to the counter and paid $15 for it, and replaced it with mine. Turned the truck on and the brake light turned off immediately.
The 3 amigos were left(VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF & ABS). Well, this post is getting long so long story short, I did the yaw sensor recalibration and then the deceleration sensor calibration and all lights have been off.
I noticed with my ScanGauge readings that instead of making my usually 11-13 mpgs, I'm around the 15-18 mpg range. Now I can get to putting fun money into it, like lockers and regearing.

I worked on the oil pan last night, actually put a gasket AND sealant. I know these vehicles only call for RTV sealant, but I wanted to use both. I ended up using a FelPro gasket. I noticed when I pulled everyone's vehicles out of my parent's house to use the garage, that we really like Toyotas.
