Any trip advice? ... I'm am going to Georgia in a few days. The wife and I will be there for week visiting some friends who live in Savannah GA. No set plans. I will have a rental car and lots of time to kill.

Seriously though, southern food is worth the trip alone. Eat lots of it. What are your other hobbies besides building up the rig? The only thing I've ever really done in the SE is climb so if you do that I could give you some ideas.

Never been to Savannah, but this summer I'm gonna try and make it to Charleston or Savannah.
There's a lot of swampland in that area you could explore, good "southern" food, the beach is nearby, you could go deep sea fishing if that's something you're interested in. Charter companies normally do half or full day trips. I think they've probably got something like the french quarter or bourbon street in New Orleans. Not as big probably, but that might be something to check out.
But most importantly, avoid Atlanta like the plague. I can only imagine how bad traffic is there now that that bridge on I-85N burned down.

I was there right after you 26th-28th, and it was still slammed when we left. We stayed on BLM land the first night and luckily got a spot at Jumbo the next two nights, although that secret spot looks much better. We camped at a similar looking area the last night in Anza. The wind when we were at J Tree was so bad, we actually left a day early, so you're lucky if you left before it came.

You may want to reconsider, Brian.
After all, you do have high mileage and you have experienced a blown gasket(s) / bad engine(s).

OB is a cool area. I'm over near mid town. Actually at PB Cantina at this moment. Headed home in a few.
I'll post some pics of recent trips soon. The Kings ride good. I haven't really put them through the ringer yet.

I'm driving the used TL (still strong, 2008 at 80k) and she drives the Lexus (and pays for it too), that has worked out great the last two years.
