It looks like a fun time was had for sure Brian. Great photos. I hope you kept the scratches to a minimum, or at least nothing Ultimate Compound can't fix.

I do have to ask why your buddy has kept his Tacoma bone stock. DD I take it.

BTW here is trail damage report as of Friday night. There were still 2 days of wheeling left when we departed back for SD. Keep in mind these are mostly Taco parts but apparently at least 3 3rd gens had rear diff issues.

1 Rolled truck!
6-Drive shafts
4+ rear diffs
1 rear axle
2 Tie Rods
1 spindle
1 wheel bearing/hub
1 LCA alignment tabs
2 alignment
1 Radiator
1 LCA
1 CV

Possibly two more tie rods, I don't know if the ones pictured are the same ones already listed.

Despite all the carnige reports myself and my friend Rob's truck (which is a stock 08 Tacoma) made it out without any major damage.

My paint is great, mainly because I skipped Kaynes Creek. I did suffer a leaking CV boot which will have to be addressed in the near future.


For the record we did:
* Top of the World (parked the stock Taco half way up)
* Fins & Things
* White Rim Trail
* Mountain Biked: Magnificent 7 (well part of it) down from the top of Gemini Bridges area

About taking the panoramic photos ... using a std lens with my DSLR I took 8-10 photos per panoramic shot and merged them using the auto Panoramic wizard in Photoshop Elements. I gives you a rough distorted pano that is beautifully auto-merged and ready for cropping and touch up.
