Hard to calculate from estimate exactly how much is paint - Shows $556 for paint but the labor for painting is mixed in with other stuff...

I ran into a parked car at an airport parking lot.

It was less than 600 bucks to replace the plastic bumper cover, painted.

Assembly began yesterday (shop still needs I bracket under headlight that was 2014 instead of 2013)...

If I'm driving it on February 1st I'll be lucky - Coming up on a month now -

I got two quotes for mine when a guy ran into me...one was dealership and one was private shop. R&I of bumper, painted new bumper...both were around $900.

Yeah unfortunately during busy season(read:inclement weather) it definitely causes delays. Did you at least get a rental in this time? The other thing which parts companies are notorious for is in fact shipping the wrong part completely off what ordered initially.

Parts are mostly coming from somewhere near Sacramento, CA.

No I don't have a rental - The wife and I are getting by in her Camry. Luckily not enough snow for it to get in trouble. Not going over the Sierra Nevada til I get the 4Runner back.

She's back

Picked it up this morning - after 33 days...

Took her out in the snow and into four wheel drive -

So good to get out of the wife's Camry.
