Broken fob

So I pulled my keys out of my pocket and realized my fob wasn't attached anymore. Luckily it was still in my pocket.
Any recommendations on how to fix this

I purchased http://www.amazon.com/KeylessOption...pebp=1448033699432&perid=0CTJJRXGETZT8E1X2080 ... it's just the shell, so you pull the circuit board, etc. from your current key fob and pop it in. Not quite the same quality as OEM, but better than a broken key fob.

Replacement shell from Amazon as above stated.

The key, no pun intended, to preventing this again is getting a little 1/4" keyring to put on it.

The tiny ring then goes on your main ring. This removes the bending force applied by just having the main ring, the keyless unit also sits flush with the key.

Any recommendations on how to fix this

When mine broke, a larger piece of the fob "tip" broke out, leaving a U shaped stub. I went to the hardware store and found a little washer that fit the stub. A couple drops of Gorilla Glue and I'm good to go. Lasts about 6 - 8 months and then scrape out the old, put in another one. But I like the suggestion above about adding another small ring. Makes sense.
