fracture shortest time to heal is 6 weeks, 2-3 month if its completely broken

If thats the case then I'll should be able to hit the slopes by February 1st. Not too bad considering. :bravo:

I wish. I'm advised to stay completely off my foot. I'm on week 6 of 8. Hoping that 8 will be enough so I can get back to work but I won't know until I see the doc in January. I broke it crashing my motorbike so I'm thankful it's not worse but snowboarding... oh snowboarding......how I miss you..

yeah but you want to move your foot around if its no longer swollen, scar tissue building up can be problematic in the future.

Don't push it. I shattered my ankle and needed a plate and six pins to put it back together, and I ignored the doc and started walking too soon and screwed up my ankle permanently.

Listen to your doc, and rehab exactly like he/she says.

I'm in one of those cam walker boots. I take it off when sleeping so I'm getting movement in the foot. It's been a long journey. I crashed my bike in CO september 2nd. Couldn't get to the doc in Montana till the 8th and the Xray was clear. So I took a few weeks off because of the "sprain." After going back to work for a few weeks it still wasn't healing so I asked for an MRI. Nice clean break through the Cuboid. So now I've been on crutches for 6 weeks with at least 2 more to go. Maybe I should just return my ski pass and start thinking about next year. I would hate to damage it for life.
