broken passenger window

Just my luck, driving home and about 5 blocks from my house some kids shoot my window out with a bbgun....luckily no one was in the passenger seat and I wasn't hit, but now I get to deal with replacing my window.
I have a 1996 sr5, power windows.
Am I correct to assume I need another gen 3 if I pull from the junkyard? Is there anything I need to watch out for?

Sidenote: anyone that visits upull&pay know what they classify the rear hatch as? tail gate? large hatch?
tia....

Any 3rd gen should work.

When some dick hole broke my rear passenger glass to get my speakers and amp, I went to a salvage yard and lucked out finding a matching window with matching tint from a limited. Only thing that was different is apparently the limited had its VIN etched into the glass, so now I have a piece of glass with a different VIN on it, but whatever...

I don't remember it being expensive from the yard. Online was several hundred dollars. Swapping it took less than 30 min. I basically got up early, went to the yard, pulled the window, drove home, replaced the window, and was at work by 9 that morning.

Hey thanks for the info! Do you know of any truck windows would be compatible? Of course the junkyard by me only has a 95 runner....
