Broken Rear Cargo Cover

does anyone have a cargo cover they don't want???

i have some broken end pieces and don't know if toyota sells just the ends...part numbers here?

does anyone know HOW many turns you need to wind up the cargo cover?..

i took off the side trying to get broken glass out of the cover... and the sides are actually wound up....as soon as i took it off, the side unwound itself... and fell to the ground...

ANYONE know how many cranks/turns / wind ups the sides need to be???

I guess I could just wind it up real tight.... But then the shade will go flying back when it retracts!!!! There's gotta be a precise wind up/# of rotations to get it back to its original tension.......

I think I saved an end cap off of a tan one I junked. I'll check my garage tonight and let you know if I have it still. I remember the thing unraveling on me too lol. Can't remember if they're side-specific or not.

I'm just so stuck on how to put this thing back together,,,

its going to be tough to hold it there while its wound up and try to get it in the grove of the cover itself without it jumping out!



moral of the story...


NEVER TAKE the SIDES OFF!!!!
