Broken seat belt buckle washer

This is a long shot, but perhaps someone has run into this same problem.

Today I noticed a clicking sound coming from my front seat while driving. I tracked it down to the seat belt buckle mounted to the right side of the driver's seat, when this is moved it makes the click.

I remove the buckle and underneath it there is a spring washer which had split apart at one point, causing the click when the two ends move past eachother. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture, which was a doh! moment on my part.

Has anybody run into the same issue? I tried to find a part number online but had no luck.

I haven't had this happen, but split washers are pretty commonly available. I think a trip to your favorite fastener-oriented, physically-distanced hardware store is in order.
