Brush guard pictures please

So, I just got my 01 SR5 last week, and I'm thinking I want to get a brush guard. I know they aren't the most popular on here, but I was wondering if some of you guys who do have them wouldn't mind posting some pictures. I know there are some old threads that glance over brush guards, but it would be awesome if I could see some different options on some 4Runners. So, if you have a brush guard, please post some pics and the brand and model. Any comments on the guard and a ballpark of what you paid would be tight too.

I'm mainly wondering if a brush guard would work on my 4runner. I was leaning towards black, I'm not a huge fan of chrome. I have a millennium silver runner, which isn't my favorite color, but it is in good shape and I got a good price on it from a Lexus dealership.... surprisingly.

I have also heard the debates on the usefulness of brush guards, I am only looking to get one for aesthetics, and to push shopping carts out of the way in parking lots ;):

Also, I would just like to add that this is a great forum. Much better than the Audi forum I came from where the answer to everything was QUATTRO!! :bash:

Most of those guys didn't even know how quattro works. IMO, good tires will help you out more in slightly slick conditions

my computer is down and i'm on a friends but if you click the link in my signature it takes you to my cardomain with pictures.

i have a Westin Guard on mine and i like it pretty good.

I'm actually selling mine. I bought it about a year ago and took it off this winter. I used it to mount lights and for a little change in looks but I;m looking to upgrade to a front bumper replacement so its been sitting in the garage for 6 months... Let me know if you're interested... I'm willing to part with for cheap ;) Rather someone acutally use it than have it sit in my garage doing...nothing lol

...and the lights are included

Nice, it doesn't look bad on silver. Is that the full guard in the picture? Or are there bars that cover the head lights too? What kind is it?

this particular one doesn't have bars that cover the headlights.. there are bars that you can purchase and add to it..but when I bought it I didn't want a brushguard that covered the headlights cause I wanted something different. I hate the generic look that everybody seems to go for...it obviously looks good (seeing as everybody gets the same style bar) but I needed something different. And it's a GoRhino

Old Picture, but best of the brush guard.

EDIT: Its Westin too I believe. I bought it from a truck outfitting store.

Interesting, thats the first time I have seen a bug deflector/brush guard combo. To each his own.

Here's mine. Unfortunately I am unsure of the brand:

Tom

Thats exactly what mine would look like. I think I'll go for the brush guard. I have that bug deflector thing on the hood too, I was thinking about taking it off if I get a brush guard, but its almost hidden, maybe i'd just leave it on

I actually added the deflector after the brush guard, not for looks though. I was tired of getting stone chips in the hood. Now instead of bugs on the hood I get them on the windshield.

Well theres not much you can do about it, it happens to everyone. I think I heard once to spray PAM on the windsheild or something. Anyone heard of that?
