Brush Guard

Hey all - I know this has been a question asked many times but I want to get everyone's opinion. We live in Kansas and would like to have something that will somewhat protect the front of our 04 Sport V8. We don't want to spend $1k on a ARB or Schrockworks. Wish I could find one cheaper because I really like them. If we don't buy one of those, what are our other options for something of some quality? Westin's are about $500 but are they of good quality? Any other good companies out there making anything thats worth while? Thanks for the help guys.

hey you might want to look at the "addicted Offroad" bumper...they go for 450 and it looks rugged and aggressive. I have been in the market for the same but need the dinero first...good luck.

There are also a few other companies that sell reasonably priced bumpers too. I myself was looking for something other than SW or ARB style/priced bumpers and more of a brushguard/grillguard. If you google for them with the year of your truck, there will be a ton of options that popup with pics of them already mounted so you can have an idea of what they will look like installed.

Honestly, those brush guards offer little if any protection. Most of the times they make a "bump" worse than it would have been due to a poor design.

Looks like Addicted Off Road doesn't even make a bumper for a 2004 4Runner. Wish there was a good "middle of the road" bumper that falls between the SW and ARB and Demello.
