Bubble mirrors on left and right mirror

Both my right and left mirrors have the little circle bubble mirrors, not sure if that is the correct name but they are about the size of a silver dollar. Are these factory? I have an 08 Sport but my buddy thinks the previous owner added them.

They're blind spot mirrors. Probably added aftermarket. I don't think they came from the factory that way.
