Thought I'd go ahead and share this for you folks that don't have facebook. He posted these like 25 mins ago. Looks like he modified the original bumper that was on gadgets 4runner. I actually prefer that design (front & rear).

As far as the rear goes, I think I prefer the older design too. I am not a fan of the diamond plate either, I would prefer it to be smooth.

I would like to see some better pictures of the rear for sure, I like carrying the spare there versus underneath the truck or up on a rack.

Seriously need some better pics of the rear. Side shots and a rear shot without half of the bumper hiding. As of right now I'm not digging the diamond plate. We need some better pics though.

I prefer the first front bumper design. Something looks off about the placement of that center hoop.

It looks good, but I like MeBe4Running's design with the integrated hitch. I agree it's a little low and the integrated hitch also looks cleaner IMO. I like the little step in behind the rear wheel. Looks a bit like the XTerra's step in the back. Nice if you're not going to run a ladder and need a step to strap down something on the back end of the rack.

For the rear bumper I like the side step, but is it me or does it look to be sticking out a lot on the corners? Mebe4running's rear looks a bit more smooth and shaped to blend with the rest of the body! (HAHAHAHAHHAHA couldnt resist the puns).

The swing-arm concepts is pretty cool though with the removable fuel carrier branch.

I'm on the fence on the front bumper. hard to be nicer than Shrockworks bumper in this. especially the area around the grille seems a bit... unfinished. But if this is still a prototype; that's also a fairly easy fix.

Okki

Couple more pics from their FB post. Still need some better pics. As of right now the Hefty rear bumper is winning.

Not liking either bumper at all. Love Bud's skid plates and sliders, but I'll be taking a pass on these.

I think(?) this must of been a one off for a customer. I would too love to see some more pictures. I love seeing what other people come up with, its so interesting. I have a good guess as to why they kept the rear hitch that way, though with out seeing further images its hard to say for sure. I haven't seen this truck on any other forums and curious as to who's it is?

I agree with OKKI on the front bumper. Certainly looking at the fog lights, and the overall finnish isn't quite there. I do like the front skid grill however. I will admit that the shorckworks has the best front bumper to date for the 5th Gen 4runner and if it wasn't for there business practices I would own one.

EDIT*** A big no, no on the Rotopax arm. That in my opinion should be welded on.

I agree the plating is not my style either. I'm picking up my heftfab rear in a few weeks.

This really killed it for me, not that I was looking to buy one, but the design in general. Side view of that step.

Here are some more pics they just posted on their facebook. The gain in clearance for the rear looks awesome. I would like to see some 3/4 lower angle shots of the bumper.

Well I sort of got lucky. I had been talking to Oliver (mebe4running) and Chris (owner of hefty) as soon as he started posting pictures of it. Told Chris that I would be coming through Colorado springs before I headed out to Moab and he said he had another mockup of the bumper Oliver had. Its only been about a month since I initially talked to him. It was originally a dual swing, but I wanted a single, so hes modifying it. I think I originally gave him about 4 weeks, but then I had to change my trip date, but at that 4 week mark it was 90% done. He was telling me the powdercoating takes the longest, some bumpers have been at the PC shop for 3 weeks.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but those BudBuilt bumpers have to be the worst looking bumpers I have ever seen in my life. That front bumper...my god. It looks like Darth Vader's air conditioning unit or something.

Need to remember the bud built front bumper is made to accommodate an intercooler for a supercharger. I agree its not the prettiest but it is purposeful.
