Here's an updated video of how the exhaust sounds:

Thanks.
As far as felt power increase, I'd say I'm actually a little disappointed. There really wasn't much of noticed increase in power. Some, but not as much as I'd hoped. It does have more power in the top end, but down low it feels about the same as before. I like the sound of the exhaust, but it was probably not worth the trouble of putting it in.
To expand on that, I will likely be changing up my gear ratios in the axles. I have 4.30 gears now and I want to go to 4.88 gears. That should help me bring some power back into this heavy truck.
The wheels are Konig Countersteer Type X. They are 17x8" with -10mm offset. You can see them here: FN Wheels
I'm guessing once you re-gear, it will 'feel' like a new truck.
Thanks for the link. I really like those wheels. Were the TRD center caps an option? Or did you have to purchase those seperate?

Dang Renegade, you've been busy...hence renaming your thread...ha
I haven't been on here for awhile and you've done a ton. Looks and sounds great! I really like the bedliner paint job.
Are you happy with the (felt) power after engine / exhaust overhaul?
I'm sure its in your thread somewhere, but I missed it. What wheels are those?
Great job!

Alright, well I started looking around under the engine bay and found a bunch of vacuum lines that looked bad. I checked on my OBD scanner and looked at the fuel trim levels and the truck was running between +15 and +25% fuel. So the truck was running lean and adding that much fuel to make the O2 sensors happy.
Replaced most of the hoses and wow what a difference it makes in your truck when you replace split vacuum lines with good lines. Fuel trim is still slightly positive, so I have another small vacuum leak somewhere, but the truck is running very good and and it has quite a bit more power on the highway.
So now I'm not so sure on the regear. It definitely isn't bugging me as much for now. I'll take another long highway trip one day and see how I'm feeling about it.
Nice build bud! I'm glad your 4runner performs better after replacing those vacuum lines.
Because of you I retrofitted my headlights and I'm building my drawer system today.
Oh good. I'm glad to hear this.
Now what will you do with the money you were going to spend on gears? hehe
The new motor looks great painted! Good luck with it.
Great thanks, I've been wanting to get around to this. Is there a thread you used as a guide?
Your rig looks good! You've clearly put a lot of work into it.
