I see the tip of the Black Rock Desert iceberg on a weekend trip with a few friends as we roamed the playa and enjoyed the many hot springs in the area.

Just wanted to check before I break something. I am setting up to put a switched fuse box in the engine bay to keep the wiring clean and have a dedicated ignition only power. Based on your install notes, I would need to put the main power lead for the compressor on either the battery terminal or perhaps a convenient always hot 12v source, correct? Or must that go directly to the battery? Then the red/yellow wire would be routed to the switched fuse box I am setting up. Eliminating the need for the add a fuse going direcxt to the OEM fuse box as I would have a switched power already. Does that sound about right?

Yes, you will want to attach the main leads (that has the built in ARB fuse) to the battery directly, and your red/yellow to the switched fuse lead. That sounds about right.

I know you haven't had the Blue Ridge organizer very long, but I was curious to see how it is holding up. I had a similar one in my Cruiser years ago, but the elastic for the pens and things just kept getting looser and looser over the years.

The BROG visor organizer has been rock solid so far! The pen loops aren't elastic so there is no stretch

Working on a fridge platform last weekend, allowing access to a 50qt. fridge from the passenger rear door/window! Needs some finishing details but it'll be a great addition when it's finished...

2 seater 4 Runner, WOW!

To me, it's more of an extended cab Tacoma than a 4Runner passenger-wise. Since I dropped out my driver's side, I have used the back seats for people 2-3 times, none of which were really dire. I'd rather use the extra space to my benefit. In about 45 minutes, I can have the back seats back in if I needed them. With just the two front seats and all of the fun gear in the back, it's now the Mullet Runner :biggrin2:
