I do believe this is my favorite 3rd gen exterior that I have ever seen. LOVE the fatty flares and awesome wide bumpers. Bada** visor too. You are quite amazing with your glass and foam skills! Bravo sir, bravo. :trophy:

Gentlemen,..:thanks: I'm glad you like the transformation. It's not for everyone but I wanted it to look like a hot wheels truck. I think I pulled it off!!

Here's a poor pict of the rear bumper installed. I'll get some better ones in the daylight.

220 hours and $1400.00 invested. Started Dec 1st.

She's a filthy mess due to snow melting on road.

I know,....the wife's Shelby (clone) is sitting under a pile of snow while the Toyota goes inside. Its a salvage title GT we got CHEAP!!! and added the extra's. Makes people wonder what's in the garage if a Shelby has to sit out in the snow LOL!!!!!

Something needs to be done about that trailer hitch. Totally kills the vibe. I've heard of people flipping the brackets or something along that line as yours looks to be the OEM. Perhaps something with the tail pipe as well, though I'm not sure what.

I looked at flipping the brackets but they turn down even with the frame rails.
If I did this, I would have to slot the holes to mobe them inbound 1/4" per side and narrow up the end caps on the main cross bar...

I removed the hitch and will tweak on it later. I have been reminded of "other" chores I NEED to get done so this will have to be it for awhile. I did sand and buff the new paint today. I truly hope some of you found this interesting and opened the door for YOU to never let money stop you from creating the rig of your dreams.
Remember,...I only have $1200.00 into this. Obviously I was fortunate enough to score the foam and steel. The plasma and welder were borrowed from friends.

Heres a thought, Why not just weld a trailer hitch onto your rear bumper like Bandit Runner's? It gets rid of that ugly hitch altogether. Not to mention you'll have more ground clearance than if you kept the existing hitch.

Got my eye on another project and listed the Toyota at 10:00 pm Friday evening on S.E. Alaska craigslist, Sitka.com buy/ sell forums, and a local Facebook buy/ sell forum. Had a guy in my driveway with cash at 9:00am Sat and 8 missed calls and text messages. 78 yr old grandpa fell in love with it. Didn't' want the hitch.

It will be well cared for and babied.

Hi I arrived super late (like, years late) and now all the pictures are unavailable on this thread. Do you still have them? I’ve been looking all over for anyone who’s done custom wide body fenders for 3rd gen and I only found one other than you. They were trying to sell their idea tho but I don’t think they got popular enough to sell. I’d prefer to try it myself so I can customize it to my liking. The one picture that you had on Pinterest looked really good. Would there be any way that you could show me the rest? I’d be so grateful.
