So as you can see half that side is out and the whole air condition fan levels on the far left nob. Anyone had this before? I am guessing I need to replace a bulb?

I came here today to ask this very same question.

I have the right half of the LCD out and the center knob out right now.

Is there any benefit to simply replacing all of them at once with the smd leds? In other words, would the new ones be brighter/different than factory? Also, I need to order the amber ones, right? In the write up that JohannS linked, it looks like there is a combo of yellow and green?
From the link: "BTW - I swapped the yellow and green bulbs around and it doesn't seem to make any difference to the amber color that results. "

The dealer has them for $5 a piece. and there is a simple write up if you search the threads in this forum. The process takes less than 10 mintues from start to finish. there are 2 bulbs for the read out.

NEO4 Instrument Cluster and Gauge | LED Car Bulbs | Super Bright LEDs

direct led replacements i would recommend the smd vs the regular only b/c of the led beam pattern. they are also polarized to the fulfillment needs to be correct or you get no light :(

4mms for the lcd
3mm for the knobs

or you could get them from the dealer

Ohhh S.k. have you used these bulbs before? Also will these work for the lights in the center console switches such as the seat heater back-lights as and the DAC switch back-light.
Also how many will I need to do the HVAC controls?

My light on the A/C just went out too am I am looking to replace all the lights on the cluster at once. does anyone have pictures of this replaces with different color lights? Thanks!

You can buy bulbs from radioshack, $2 = 2pcs. I have LEDs and it looks aftermarket. I'll go back to incandescent.

Beer - I just bought a 2008 and the right bulb on the comp readout is out. Did you get the SMD led bulbs? What colors?
