C&D's newest beef with the Runner and Tacoma is the close-to-the-floor seating position. From a drivers perspective, I like this feeling as it seems sportier......from a not-a-complete-idiot's perspective, I know that this is waht happens when you want to build a vehicle with good ground clearance that still fits in your average garage.
So, in a competition of TRUCKS, the Tacoma has the biggest bed, tows the most (the Dodge tows a bit more, but is ranked lower anyways), accelerates the fastest, has the 2nd most ground clearance, the best approach angle, AND does all this returning the best fuel economy while looking damn cool.......and gets beat by a jacked up, uglyfied, Accord that doesn't even have a 2 speed transfer case or at least a semi-usable bed that one could reach into from the side.....I'm sorry, but that's just fucked.

I guess a "truck test" nowadays is a competition of who can build a truck with the fewest "real truck" features, the most "sports car like" handling, the least off road capability, the smallest bed, and, for fuck sakes, the lowest floor......You'd think if you were BS'ing a comparison test, you could at least come up with something better than that.....
