Bumper mounting a LED Bar?

Not sure about the light bar guys, but I used a relay when wiring up my lights. Mine draw more power than yours since they aren't LED though. From the lights to the relay, from the relay to the switch, and from the relay to battery. I bought the relay at Radio Shack, it was like $3. I'm electrically challenged and it only took me a couple hours.

Yeah, electrically challenged is a good way to define my experience and expertise as well. Plumbing, mechanics, and construction/carpentry I always feel pretty confident with but wiring things up always gives me a bit of the pucker factor.

I think I'll go the relay route just to be on the safe side. My switch could probably handle it as it's rated for 30amps, but I'd rather be over built than under.

Do you remember the gauge of wire you ran?
