Burning in / out new cats

I got my truck back from the cat pipe replacement to see if that helps with the stink....maybe / maybe not , we'll see.

I know the new cats & pipes will stink when burning in , how long will it take ? Just one good heat cycle ? or longer ?

I had my 06 done a few weeks ago with that same TSB I posted in your other thread. It had a funny smell for only a few days but the funk appears to now be totally gone. If it is windy and you floor it with the back window down you can still catch an exhaust smell, but there is no putrid scent to it anymore.

Just picked it up so I'll see how it goes from hear . If I have the same results as you I will be happy.
