Bushwacker Fender Flares

Cut out flares require trimming, and I cannot imagine too many people are going to want to cut up there fenders. I want the cut out, but in the interest of getting enough votes for production, I opted for the standard pocket flares.

Are you sure about that? I thought trimming was optional with the cut-out flares as was the amount of trimming?

I don't really understand why so many people want them if not for more clearance.

edit - It seems like the non pocket style ones are gonna look exactly like what we already have and be pointless?

They are just for WIDER clearance. I have 285/70/17's with spidertrax and Procomp series 69 wheels... All that gives me about 1-1.5" of tire poke that I hate. I've considered the fiberglass or even the Burtman, but they are too damn much money...

I may be wrong about the cut out flares, I do not know for sure. However if the cutout flare can be mounted just like the non cutout flare, why would there be a non cutout option if one flare covers both styles.

the non pocket flares are just like what we have, with the exception you can get a little better tire coverage on the extended flare. but buying a flare that looks just like what is on the truck for 500 bucks seems like a great waste of money to me.

Done. Voted for the pocket style with factory holes. However, I also mentioned in the comments that I may be interested in the cut-out style depending on how much sheet metal removal is required. Too much trimming may make it less appealing to me.

Hey everyone!

Ben from Bushwacker here - I manage Bushwacker's Facebook page, and am managing the survey. We're really excited to get this project off the ground, as most of you know I've been fighting for 4G4R flares for awhile now.

I've noticed that T4R.org has been the spearhead behind all the requests over the last year, and i'm hoping you guys can help continue the push.

The survey has been open for two weeks, and the feedback has been helpful, but we could use more responses to prove interest and to get a better idea of what the design should look like.

I'd appreciate it if T4R.org could help spread the word - please share the survey with people you know that might be interested in a set.

Again - thanks for your persistance, if it weren't for T4R.org then I wouldn't have had an excuse to pester R&D.

Can't wait to get this off the ground!

Its great seeing you and your company reach out to the forums and really see how wanted these are.

I am a huuuge advocate of your product and would buy these immediately.

I also live in Sherwood, OR and willing to give my truck up for research. I competed the survey but not because I think my rig would look good with them but because I have actually needed them according to the law man. My situation is easily pushed aside (as its not technically too far out but enough to question) but nonetheless an ease to my mind.

Please reach out if you want help with fitments and dimensions.

I'm not driving my 4Runner as a DD so I can easily leave it with you guys.
