Button Lights Out?

So my 4x4 buttons plus downhill assist button don't seem to light up when I turn headlights on. Everything else is fine. I don't actually remember if these buttons ever lite up or not.

Is there a particular fuse that just goes to these buttons or do the buttons need to be replaced?

There are little bulbs in the switches that burn out over time. I've had to replace a few recently. The are bespoke bulbs...you can get them at the dealer or one of the toyota online parts sites.

The dealership here in Louisville wanted an outrageous amount of money per bulb. Check on line first. Neo-wedge is the style, I think.

You can pay a finger or two at the dealership .. or order LED's and upgrade all your buttons. I'm running Ebay led's with no problems (this after I spent $10 on 3 replacement bulbs from the dealer).

See my post here.

Meant to post this link last night but was not feeling well.
This is the route I will go at my next replacement.
There have been several folks using these bulb replacements as well as from a couple of other sources. There are several threads here regarding replacing these lamps.
Remember, LED's are polarity sensitive, if you install them and they do not illuminate remove them, rotate 180 degrees and re try.
