Buy a 2019 or 2020 if the 3.5 will be the power plant for the 6th gen

Why not just use a turbo diesel like they use in other countries? We've been asking for a diesel option for ages.
Just put a bigger turbo on it for better torque/economy.

I love the 765lb torque that my LML duramax produces but the downside to all diesel engines is emissions. Exhaust gas recirculation and selective catalytic reduction flat out ruin the experience as well as reliability and durability of the motor.

Most new designs limp or wont run right if a filter fails or even if you run out of def fluid.

If I was buying a new heavy duty today I would want the new gas that chevy and ford have both revamped for 2020.

Unless you tow the max everyday all day gas is the right option.
