Buying a 5th Gen

I'm a little late to the party, but I was reading this and thought I'd chime in. We currently have a 4th gen that we use as the "adventure" vehicle and it's a pleasure to drive at 230k. It's got the P0420/430 codes, but it passes emissions so I haven't bothered with it. My wife just told me that she wants something "for her" and I found a remarkably clean 2010 SR5 Premium with 187k for $12,000. We've got a hefty down payment, but I'm going to try and work it closer to $10k.

What do you guys think about a 5th gen with 187k on the clock?

I think $10k-11k would be a reasonable price for 187k on the clock.

totaled my 3rd gen ( rolled after hitting black ice at speed). Looking at a 2012 5th gen SR5. ( 149k, 3rd owner, 13k....note cars are hard to find up here)
Anything really obvious to look for
