Buying a 95 4runner, need information to customize

Buying a 95 4runner either tomorrow or early this week. I'm looking to do almost a complete customization to it and not sure where to begin. Here's what I am looking to do.

Roof Rack with custom lighting
Lift Kit
Grill guard with winch
Skid Plates

Basically I want to make it into something I can go off into the woods and not get stuck.

Any ideas where I should go from here, or what sites I should shop at? Located in Florida. Thanks for the info

I picked up a 95 earlier this year, I put 3rd gen wheels on it, a 3rd gen brushguard (minor welding to make it fit) tinted the windows, added some foglights, painted the bumpers, removed running boards..and it looks like a brand new rig. Im not sure if I'm going to lift it, ( i also have a 3rd gen 4x4, but I like the 2nd get better lol).

You should start with the drivetrain and accessing all problems it may have first. Making it reliable before you customize it would be the best idea.

My advice to you and anyone buying a used vehicle is to get ALL the maintenance up to date. Make sure the vehicle is running well and will be reliable before customizing it. What good is a vehicle with flashy rims, stereo system etc etc if it's going to keep breaking down on you?

Just my opinion of course; you can choose to do what ever you want
