That's how it worked for me. I didn't pay a deposit when I special ordered (repeat customer), but the way the numbers worked out was price agreed plus TTL minus the rebate. Which was nothing more than an instant rebate. I did have to pay state and fed taxes on the $1500 that I got back. About the only thing I can be grateful for is Uncle Sam didn't tax me again on the $1500 as income. Argh, I hate taxes (in case it wasn't obvious). :bash:
