Buying Replacement Parts

Hey guys , so am a bit new on the 4runner subject and i need to buy some new replacement parts for it so i thought you guys might be able to guide me on whats best to buy. To make it clear am buying everything throu internet since am not from the US.

Here is the list>

LBJ left and right
Inner tie rod left and right
Bushings for the front LCA (bothe sides)
Bushings for the rear LCA (bothe sides)
Bushings for the end links or new end links (front and rear)

All the parts would be for a 2000 4runner (diesel engine :clap2

I had to replace the rear LCA bushings on mine, and decided it'd be better to replace the entire arm. The OEM bushings are good, but 4 of them add up pretty quick. It might be good to replace the entire sway bar link as well, especially if you're running stock ones. Some people get away with running stocks, and some people break them. With the LBJ's, go OEM on them. I run NAPA's with no issues, but people will tell you OEM is the best.

For the rear sway bar bushings, I went with "Prothane 18-1116 Red 19 mm Rear Sway Bar Bushing Kit". It comes with grease, installed in 10 minutes, and hasn't made a squeak since I threw them on.

I went with another Prothane kit up front (sorry, can't find the part #'s) but my front sway bar had rusted or bubbled or something and I couldn't get the metal brackets over the bar with the bushing. As a result I just stopped running a front sway bar 4,000 miles ago. All okay, even at highway speeds (people don't seem to be as keen on rear sway delete like the front though).

But if you did want to get new links all together, Moog makes rather inexpensive ones for the front. You can also use those in the rear. Found mine on Amazon.

LBJs definitely go OEM. I always try to save $ on the runner but it's one part that I went all out on, too many unsettling stories from non-OEM auto part store LBJs. Out of all the things you've mentioned needing to source, this is the only thing I'd bother going OEM with. Have read plenty of threads where people are OK using aftermarket for the remainder.

thanks guys , btw any of you guys out there wouldnt know where i could get new UCAs? which are better than the OEM i mean like total chaos. And wheres the cheapest place to get them lol?
