Yes you are right they don’t have headlights for our third gens, the spot lights are what I was speaking about. Their 3inch spot lights put out way more light than bx’s headlight. This is the route I am going instead of wasting time and money with BX. Sorry for the confusion

Update on my order....I sent this email the other day:

I originally placed an order (#11903) on 29 DEC 2021 with an advertised wait time of 6-9 weeks on the web site but understood that most people on the forums had waited about 6 months due to supply shortages and high demand. Completely understandable.
On 11 JUL 2022, I emailed to check in and was told my order was still 5-6 weeks out…not ideal, but I get it, things happen.
On 09 NOV 2022, I emailed to check in again and was told there was a lost shipment of projectors and housings but the replacements were supposed to arrive in 7-10 business days and my order would ship in 2 - 3 weeks, if not sooner.
So my question at this point, is there any realistic timeline as to when I might see these lights? I absolutely still want the product as its the best product available for my truck, but holding customer’s money for over a year with no proactive updates is more than frustrating.

Hello Gregory, I want to apologize for the delays, we for sure expected your build to be out sooner than later. We have tons of delivery promises from a lot of our suppliers that have gone way over time and lost products ect. We expect these to ship out no later then Jan 23rd if not sooner
Are these guys kidding at this point? Same response every single time. And they keep running black friday and holiday sales on the web site while orders are backed up over a year! I'm probably just going to forward my chain of emails to the AMEX fraud department and let them got after BXBuilt at this point.

Since they make no effort to accept responsibility and blame suppliers, I'd say they are incapable of running an honest company and are being propped up by IG bootlickers in the #T4R community who got a bro deal. DIY.

Man, this just sucks to see. Andrew was great to work with when I bought mine in the fall of 2020. I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that I haven't seen a reputable and dependable alternative to BXBuilt ever after this has been issue for so long.

Damn. Admittedly I have been spending time over on the Yotatech forum as I purchased an '83 Toyota Pickup a few months back.
Disappointed that it looks like things have gotten worse and not better with this group. I unfollowed them a while back on the social stuff. The spinning rainbow halo lights and all that bullshit does absolutely nothing for me.
I've been happy with the lights I received. But at this point and reading through the last few pages of the thread I'd say buyer beware may be an understatement at this point. Shop elsewhere if there is anywhere else or go DIY.

Yea, these guys are complete clowns. Still running sales with over a years worth of outstanding orders to fill. Ill wait until 23 JAN, contact them again, then ask for a refund. When they refuse the refund, Ill send the credit card company after them. I've saved all email communication so it should be pretty cut and dry.
I really feel like at this point they're running a scam, and will eventually go under and walk away with a lot of customer's money. The fact that they're deleting all negative posts on social media is very telling.

Curious, what did you order from them? My order from Dec 29 2021 was just the base retrofit headlights with no halos in chrome.

Completely agree with all you've said this is absolutely absurd. Mine did take 10 months and I was about over it by the time I finally got them. Being you got "standard" ones I see no reason why it should be a freaking year.

If you're still waiting for your headlights, my advice would be to try to get a refund and cancel your order. TEQ Customs can do anything BXBuilt can do and they actually deliver in a timely manner.
