don't bother wasting your money buying fasteners online. Just go to home depot, and pick out what you want.
Thats what I had to do with my prinsu rack. Sure I had to buy some specialty standoffs and eyelets that I can only find online, but for carriage bolts, etc.....you can't beat home depot.
If you are looking for blacked out fasteners, yeah, you won't find them at home depot...lol..

I'd email C4 and ask them for the specs of all the bolts and carriage bolts that you need to replace...but its gonna be ALOT of fasteners you have to buy.

Love the style of this ladder, as it matches my roof (RPM Fab, similar to a Prinsu), but for nearly $400........:cry2:. Anyone know of another manufacturer making a similar style for less?

Looks like those will work just fine.
But not everyone has a Home Depot near by. There were talks of getting one here in Rapid City over 5 years ago but it still hasn't happened.
We are the only company making one, but give it some time and im sure others will hop on the design we have created and turn it into a trend. A year or two from now there will probably be at least 5 other companies making them, but im sure the price wont be far off from ours. Aluminum is expensive and so are stainless fasteners.

I'm sure you're correct, on all points.
Anyone have an issue with a really large gap between the base plate at the bottom of the hatch and the bottom mounting points of the ladder? I know the video says you wil have to pinch the gap closed and apply the screws but I have quite a large gap that can somewhat be overcome with my entire body weight and then using the screws to close the rest of the gap.

If you slightly loosen the carriage bolts that attach the top portion of the ladder to the main ladder, that will allow the ladder to relax a bit and settle in to place a bit more to close the gap. Once you get the bolts started at the bottom mounting plate, tighten the top connecting carriage bolts that you loosened and then finish tightening the bolts on the bottom mounting plate.

Question about rear spoiler clearance
It looks from the photos in this thread that the top of the ladder contacts the rear spoiler before attaching to the the top base plate. Are any owners experiencing wear on the body/spoiler from the ladder contact or movement of the ladder against the body while off-road?

Took a quick look at the ladder - haven't taken it off-road yet, but have put on some highway miles since installing it.
I think any rubbing depends on how you install it. If you put a lot of pressure (towards rear of vehicle) on the top plate during installation by jamming in cardboard, as direct in C4's instructions, then the top hook that wraps around the spoiler may be very close to the paint. This probably would cause the hook to rub against the spoiler and cause damage over time.
In my case, it looks like there is still about a 1/16"-3/32" gap between the edge of the hook and the edge of the spoiler. This may change with use as the double sided foam compresses and weathers with use. Additionally FYI, with the hatch fully open, the top plate does not touch the roof line.
Will try to take some photos later this weekend for some show-and-tell. Also doing some light off-roading in the desert this weekend and I'll try to look for any damage afterwards. Don't think there will be any, though.

Don't worry that guy is in az, and one of those companies are also in AZ, it's only a matter of time lol.
For guys concerned about clearance, if it were me i'd take a grinder and flap disk and sand the spot thats closest to the hatch to get another 1/8" of clearance. but i doubt its going to flex when you're offroading. if it doesn't contact when you're climbing on it you should be golden. doubt C4 would sell a ladder that rubs the paint

I'll have mine on withing a week or two (depending on weather). Hoping I do not need to remove the rear cross bar of my SSO but will post pics for everyone.
