C4 LoPro Bumpter Install Video

I thought I had posted this on there, but I guess I hadn't.

Just wanted to share this. It's not necessarily a "how-to", but it could lend some assistance if you're taking this project on.

How hard was it to install it with only help from your kids? I helped a couple members of the forum install this on a 4Runner and even with three grown men it was a bit of a pain lifting it into position and getting it bolted in.

Nice overview man and glad you did this as I'm going to order this exact set-up as my next purchase. How did you decide on the winch model to put in there? I've been looking at a few different ones and had a few Smittybilts on a Jeep and they worked out really well for the price.

Well, since I'm super swoll, buff and I work out all the time, it was a cinch.

I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty tough holding it up there while my son (who isn't super mechanically inclined (like his father)) tried to thread a bolt in on either side. If I were a cussin' man, I would have said a few choice words in exasperation. haha.

This was my second time playing with steel - first were my slee sliders... And it never ceases to amaze me how friggin heavy this stuff is... haha.

As you likely saw in the movie - I had zero winching experience.

I did NOT want to spend the premium price for the Warn if I didn't feel it was warranted.

I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for, but I have several who have been running this smittybilt winch with no issues for a while (maybe years??) - and they all stood by it, so that's what I went with.

Only time will tell if it'll hold up - and I'm sure I'll put it to the test!

Awesome video, my daughter enjoyed watching it as well. Her seeing your son help you out is now the reason I have a 4 year old who wants to take a 14mm ratcheting wrench to everything.
