Looks to be that you do. If you have 2 CAT's is another way to tell

2001/2002 all have the same emissions system (notice it says 'Federal' and 'California' on your sticker).

If you don't have to do a full CARB-style emissions test, just get any old cat that is the right size in there and that will fix the CEL.

Update: got my Denso rear O2 in this evening and installed. The Bosche I took out was cashed. I reset CEL and using Torque show catalyst test already completed after a 20 min drive and no more codes. Success. Stainless headers in CA trucks? Is this good or bad and what are non CA headers made of?

I don't know if it is good or bad but the Cali pre-cats will only bolt up to the Cali. headers.

On the label, see where it says TWC(2) underneath Engine Family? That tells you there are two cats. TWC = Three-Way Converter
