That's just gas. ~$20 to fill up twice a week. Greatest part is I get reimbursed $.52/mile by my company for driving so it's just money in the bank. Insurance is something like $75/6mo and registration is $78/yr. This thing is cheap as crap for me to drive.
If we want to go and extrapolate the data on this and add in insurance, registration, and the maintenance I've done to it this year (which would skew the data since it's more than normal but whatever), it would look something like this:
42 miles a day x 251 days (I don't normally drive it on the weekends) = 10,542 miles in a year
$3700 purchase price
$600 taxes
$78 registration for the year
$14 for inspection for the year
$150 insurance for one year
$90 in oil changes (two a year at 6000 mile intervals)
$400 for trans//diffs//transfer case fluids//plugs//wires//air filter//PCV valve (maintenance since I bought it)
$300 for ball joints//ote//ite (maintenance since I bought it)
$800 for tires (maintenance since I bought it)
$850 for suspension lift
$1300 for valve cover gaskets//timing check and adjust//fuel pressure regulator (maintenance since I bought it)
$85 high flow cat converter
$103 for borla muffler
So that's $8,470 worth of maintenance//upgrades//general ownership costs for the past year. Divide that all out by the 10,542 miles a year I drive and we get ~$.80/mile. Add that with the $.13 a mile it costs for just gas and I'm at $.93/mile for 2015.
Now, let's remove all of the stuff that I won't be doing next year (purchase, taxes, tires, tie rods, ball joints, converter, muffler, lift, valve cover gaskets, etc).
42 miles a day x 251 days (I don't normally drive it on the weekends) = 10,542 miles in a year
$78 registration for the year
$14 for inspection for the year
$150 insurance for one year
$90 in oil changes (two a year at 6000 mile intervals)
$400 for trans//diffs//transfer case fluids//plugs//wires//air filter//PCV valve
That comes out to $732 a year divided by 10,542 miles a year that I drive plus $.13/mile for gas and it comes out to $.19/mile.
