Wow, well I'm sure he made sure to care really well for it on those trips, I'd be terrified of messing something up I worked so hard on! lol. But, then again, I guess that's what they were made for.

Thank you! I will shoot my hubs a text message with that information. Don't know what point they are in the lift though, maybe I'll call...

If they don't they'll surely figure it out like i did lol.. "why's my abs light on?" lol stupid 80 dollar wire from toyota.. I was able to splice mine I cut back the insulation to find the breaking point and butt spliced the wires back together. It works but I feel as if the braking is slightly uneven like a half a second off from driver side to passenger side probably from the change in resistance traveling through the wire.

Uhh huhhhh.... lol. I'm anxious, about to take the little one for walk and go see how they're doing. The shop is literally like a 5 min. walk from our house, lol.
They're doing it at the bases Auto Hobby shop. It's a pretty stocked place, they have everything they could need for $8 bucks an hour, including any tool or machine you want to use.

thats pretty cool. I was going to see if it was at a shop i knew i would rush them. haha But thats a neat idea for a shop.

That's awesome. I did the same thing here on the arsenal to install my lift. It was quite a bit cheaper at the time, I think around $3-4/hr, but that was Aug 2011. You should go over there and see how its done. My lift was the first full lift I had ever done and it was super easy...a lot of fun too.
EDIT: Nm, I just looked it up and it was about the same, $6-7/hr. Not sure why I was thinking it was so much cheaper. Still WAY cheaper than having to pay any shop to install it.

I def. agree, way cheaper than paying a shop, by far! I watched them as much as I could today, but I had a toddler dragging me everywhere, so it's wasn't much fun. =(

Well, we didn't make it out of the shop today, my baby is still up on a lift with no tires waiting for tomorrow. Thought the lift wasn't going to happen at all today though, after what we found out...
So, I walked over to check on the guys to see how they were doing and thankfully got there in time. They were starting to put things back together. Apparently, the bolt on top of my original struts was rusted on, and was going to be impossible to take off unless they cut it off, leaving me with needing new struts. No one thought we'd find anyone with them in stock, but after calling five different auto stores in town, I finally found one with what we needed, thank goodness! I might have cried like a baby if we had to stop everything, lol. So, took a lunch break and went and got the struts. Hubs and my Stepdad got the front struts and spacer done today before they had to check out and are going back tomorrow to hopefully finish everything up.
Until then, here are a bunch of pics from the day... hopefully the best will be ready tomorrow!

I forgot how much it costed me. We did my install in my friend's garage, but used the hobby shop to assemble my coilovers. It was nice to have a wall-mounted spring compressor.

90% finished...
Alright, alright ladies and gents, I'm here with photos finally! They honestly aren't the ones I want to post, I want to post the finished product, but I guess that's not going to happen for a few days. They didn't realize you had to put the center caps on before mounting the wheels, and ran out of time to fix them, so the wheels look not so great, and they ran out of time to do the spoiler, boo =(. But, we'll get those things finsihed in the next couple days. Besides those little things, I think it looks pretty dang AMAZING!
How does the pink on the tires look? Hubs and Stepdad love them and said everyone in the shop was owwing and ahhing at my truck, hehe. =)
