a couple of weeks back i had to brake hard to avoid rear ending a car and the front driver side caliper lock on me. I added gas and my rig wouldn't move. i had to add a lot of gas to drive and it went away and was able to drive home.
Once i got home i bled the brakes and it didn't lock on me anymore. I had the truck on drive with my foot on the brake and added a little bit of gas and i could hear that the caliper would not fully engage. The passenger side caliper held the truck from moving but not the driver side. I think this is why i get a lot of pulsation when i brake on high speeds.
Should i be looking into replacing the caliper or rebuild it with a local parts kit? I'm on a tight budget.
