I know I may catch flak for this thread...oh well. As a life long fan (I'm 32 y/o), I'm used to all the hate, but even some of the biggest haters can admit it's been great watching Dak and Zeke this season. This last game against the Steelers did not disappoint, and we have some tough games ahead, but I haven't been this excited since the JJ years. I am being cautiously optimistic about our chances in the post season, and I hope the best is ahead. I'm torn about how I feel with the Romo situation; on the one hand he was a great qb, on the other Dak is cementing his place and I want to see how far he can go. Anyway just wanted to see who else is like minded and if you're in the Austin area maybe we could meet up for a watch party in the future...

Life long Cowboys fan here as well although I don't watch to many games anymore. I do miss those JJ years but they look pretty good this year. I never really was a fan of Romo so I won't necessarily miss him when he's gone.
 
I'm only a Cowboys fan since I've been living for in Dallas for the past 7 years.
I'm originally from Cleveland and I think everyone can imagine what it's like to be a Browns fan...:moping:

I cringe every time I hear someone say that. So much can happen between now and then. I've been taking it one game at a time for so long and this season is no different...except for the whole winning thing [emoji106]

He sounded depressed. He really shouldn't be surprised though. He's played like crap and now he's fragile. I did think it was a well written piece though.
 
Yeah its a shame. I've had more than a few back injuries myself so I understand his frustration. All the years he's been playing and this year a 4th round pick is living his dream.

Shoot this year it woulda been cool to have Dallas/Houston game at NRG. The Patriots would be a good one too. Yeah its been great watching both of them tear it up.

It wasn't the best game for either team. But that's typical vikings. I've been disappointed in the Vikings for the past few weeks. But holy crap Zeke is crazy good would you guys mind doing a Herschel Walker trade for him, we'll give you Adrian since he wants to live in Texas anyways..... we also need a few draft picks too since we traded all of ours away which makes tanking the season a moot point
 
Yeah it was not great. The best part about it was the watch party I was at to see the game. Now that no call was a bummer for Minnesota since I know that feeling to get a no-call on a penalty that could have changed the whole dynamic. Can't say Minnesota would have won, just woulda gone into OT and no one can truly say what could have happened then!
 
I don't think it was a no call. I watched some of the replays and there are 2 really good videos that show the ball is released before the lineman gets his hand on Bradfords helmet. To me I think it was right that they didn't call it(I don't think you'll ever hear another Vikings fan say that!). Bradford just threw high because a man was coming at him. Besides if they would score a touchdown instead of settling for a FG every fricken time they wouldn't be in half of the situations they get themselves into. Oh well there's next year for the Vikings.

I'll have to rewatch it then. Yeah the commentators were going on about it this morning. Still it exposed some things Dallas needs to work on.
