CalTrend seat covers - anyone have these?

My son needs to buy some seat covers for a 2014 4Runner. He works construction and needs something to protect the seats from his work clothes. I found these CalTrend covers that claim to be custom made to fit the 4Runner seats. Anybody have any experience/recommendations with respect to these? Any other brands out there worth looking into? Thanks!!!

I have not had the cash to pony up for a set of these yet myself, but it is definitely the brand I will go with when I do make the leap. There are different reasons why you might want a different material than true neoprene but it would be ideal for construction site use since they clean up pretty easy from getting dirty or muddy. I have a couple of friends that have these and they love them.

Thanks for the suggestion!! I looked into these, and watched a few youtube videos, and I think these are the ones to buy. Seems to be high end quality throughout. Now we just need to figure out what color combos. The 4Runner is an SR5 with the base cloth seats in black/charcoal. I'm thinking the Wet Okole solid color in black with light gray insert might match the factory seats best.

I'll try to do that. There is a gallery section on their website that shows photos by model (there are several with 5th gen T4Rs). I decided to stick with all black, so as to avoid winding up with something that clashes with the back seats, which we're not buying covers for. I ordered a set today, so hopefully will have them before too long.

I have Wet Okoles in my 1st gen 4Runner. Keep in mind they need to be installed by taking the seats out so they are in no way convenient to wash if that's a factor. They also have a 4-6 delivery wait so get started if they are going to be a Christmas gift. If your son works construction, these custom fit covers by Carhart are made to clean. They look really comfy, cost $198 per row of seats and come in the classic Carhart tan and a graphite color.

I have Wet Okoles in my 1st gen 4Runner. Keep in mind they need to be installed by taking the seats out so they are in no way convenient to wash if that's a factor.

My understanding was that only the back seats might need to be removed. Was I mistaken?

You do not need to remove the back seats, they slide over with some straps under the seat used to tighten the covers down. I have had them on two vehicles including my 4Runner, neither required removing the seats to install.
