I recently bought my 2008 4.7 with 112K. No timing belt replacement history. The selling Toyota dealer swore up and down that the 90k interval was just a suggestion and it didn't need to be done. BS I know. Well now my cam seals are leaking so I want to get the whole job done. I'm getting conflicting info on if the cam and crank seals require additional labor on a 4.7. A few dealers quoted $1200 for everything, another dealer said the crank and cam seals on this engine require an additional labor cost of $600! Thanks for any help and clarification.

Yes, the seals require additional labor. It sounds like you have some untrustworthy dealers in your area. The only reason I can imagine one saying the $1200 "includes everything" is that "everything" means everything for the timing belt so they can come back and say your seals are leaking and they suggest another $600 work while they have it opened up.
If you do it yourself order the crank seals ahead of time from a couple different places. Forgot to order from rockauto with my timing belt kit and had to run and grab one at autozone. Of course it was the wrong one and I couldn't let the truck sit another couple days while I ordered one. Luckily the seal wasn't leaking, just wanted to put a new one in while I had everything apart.

Find an independent auto shop that works on imports only. I cannot imagine that where you are located there isn't shop that is decent and trusted. In my town, the independents charge next to half what the dealers charge. Your truck is old enough that all the dealer tricks on repairs are no longer secret.

As a mechanic I would never use anything but oem seals. Most aftermarket seals are junk and tend to leak. That is not a job you want to redo because of a $20 saving.
Same thing with the water pump

im curious, how can you tell they are leaking?
are they just dumping oil? being behind the cover the way they are, id expect it would be hard to tell, unless it was a very bad/fast leak. in which case, they should be change sooner rather than later.
Will post a better pic tomorrow. I took this picture a few days ago thinking it was the valve cover gasket, but had a shop tell me it's Cam/ crank seals.

I realize now that the picture above isn't the crank seal leak. The leak above is on the passenger side right above the alternator. I checked the timing cover area from the top engine bay and can't see any leaks. I will try to get a look from underneath this weekend as the shop who told me they were leaking didn't seem to want to take the time to show the leak to me.
