Thanks everyone! Looked at some SPACE trailers this weekend. Liked the flexibility they offered while keeping the interior open for the dog.

Seriously though, if you're planning on going on rough roads, either an adventure trailer or one of the teardrop campers is the way to go. When we do the trans-labrador next year or the year after, that will be the config.

Thanks Homeyclaus. It's gonna be sometime before we move out of our tent. The trailer we're considering is a covered 'gear' trailer vs. an RV.

What travel trailer do you have there? I've been seriously looking into purchasing a 4runner but really having a hard time deciding whether to go with the V6 or V8? We will most likely be purchasing a travel trailer for hunting.
