Can I use these shocks on my 03 SR5?

48530-35161 OEM shock. Says it fits 10-16 models but sure looks the same. I have someone locally selling an OEM kit from their T4R for a deal. I can't really see a difference between it and what is OEM on my car.

Stock shock part # for my 03 is 48530-35251.

My understanding is the 5th gen rear shocks are different. The front struts are interchangeable, however the lower bolt on the rears is the issue.

you can use rear shocks but you have to enlarge the holes for the shocks on the frame I have read

that's me, if it doesn't just bolt on i'll find one that does before I start rigging things to work

I put full 2014 FJ Off Road Bilsteins on mine. It's the same procedure as the 5th gen T4R swap.

A step drill or dremel + patience. Doesn't take long. Enlarge the rear chassis mount hole so the top of the shock fits thru/sits flush.

I sourced the FJ suspension for cheap. Was worth the minor inconvenience to me.
