Okay, so I pulled my ABS fuse a while back as the system was acting up do to a seperate issue with my brakes. By pull, I literally mean just that, I pulled on it with vice grips and it ripped out leaving the two prongs behind. Now the little bas****s are stuck in there, with screws holding them in on each side. I want to replace the fuse with a new one I bought, as I plan on doing the ABS on/off switch mod.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get at the screws on each side. I see some tabs in the fuse box that makes it look like you can pull sections up out of the box to gain access but I can't figure it out. I really have no idea how to go about it. I've loosend the left side screw but cannot get it enough to let go of the prong, and then I have the right side to deal with which is covered up by a different fuse.
If anyone who has had to do this before can give me some pointers as to what to do I'd greatly appreciate it. Replacing a fuse shouldn't be this much of a pain.
The haines manual I have has no explanation on how to go about it either.
