Yes, I've read through most of it. It ends up being a kind of personal decision which I figured it would be. I still would love to know if Toyota switched at some point in the 1990s?? to red?? Anyone?? If my truck originally came with green I'll stay with green and likewise with red. I'm hopelessly OEM. Its my comfort zone. I figure I'm saving enough dough doing it myself, why not.

Ha! I only put on around 8k-10k per year. I expect to hit 300k around 2032.

My jiggle valve is in the wrong position cause i followed a tacoma video when replacing my timing belt. But i always see the arguments that higher temps aren't a bad thing. Anyways I may flip it this summer. Just think of how many 4runners are out there with flipped valves and theyre doing just fine, especially if the dealer puts it in the up position.
