Can't find 4runner commercials

If you already have a product that's selling well....then why waste money on advertising.

Toyota is having a hard time keeping up with demand for certain parts and certain vehicles (last years tsunami). What I read - vehicles like the 4runner the demand is higher then the number they are able to produce this year. So no since in advertising to increase sales...since you're selling all you can make. When production for parts increase..then we'll see advertising again.

Yes you are correct that 4runners are in demand even with high fuel prices. I read on msn auto website recently that 4runners demand a high resale value despite the fact that it's not easy on gas and it's a truck base SUV, which most car companies are moving away from.

With 4runners the percent financing the dealer offers are never low. They know people will buy it regardless. When they have special offers on select models it's never the 4runner.
 
I remember seeing them when they came out, can't say I know where to find them now.

I remember a silver sport with cladding flying up mountains and through trails, was a good commercial.
 
Yes, there were a few different commercials I found for the 4th gen when it rolled out. I found them all on youtube.

Now, they don't even show the 4R in any Toyota commercials. Not even when their ''full line of cars end trucks'' are pictured...

I assume they expect folks like us to keep buying it as a ''niche'' vehicle. It seems people who want fuel efficient vehicles go to the car based SUV's like the Highlander and all these da** Kia's and Hyundai's all over the road...

Yea Toyota realized that 4Runners are pretty much amazing and would sell just as easily without advertisement. Because 4Runners are just awesome :reddance:
